Ling-Temco-Vought F-8K Crusader

Last revised January 21, 2000

As part of the Crusader upgrade program, 87 F-8Cs were remanufactured as F-8Ks. Most of them were issued to Marine squadrons, although a few Navy utility squadrons operated them. As compared to the F-8C, the F-8K featured underwing pylons and a new cockpit lighting system.
